IPHAZE: Bass Music Toulouse/France

The concept IPHAZE was created by Toch in 2004 but after successive collaborations with various artists, it found its current set up, machines/drums in 2008. This project is one of its kind thanks to the interactivity sound/video and the relevant social themes.
Very quickly, IPHAZE was signed to release their first album, “Insight” in June 2009. This album will lead IPHAZE to touring nationally in August 2009.

With their first miles under their belt, IPHAZE tweaked their set list and developed showmanship and charisma on stage. Their show then becomes a real explosion of energy, conveying multiple emotions to the audience.

From this hyperactivity came their second album “Worship” in October 2010, allowing IPHAZE to tour not only in France but also in Europe (Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic……) with over 150 dates, recorded in the DVD “Wink Pulse” out since October 2011.
The band worked relentlessly and, as well as developing their maturity onstage, they decided to compose their third album “Bloodshot” out since the 1st March 2012, recorded in the Lyon studios of the label Jarring Effect and mastered at the “exchange
Studio” in London with Mike Marsh (Prodigy, Massive Attack, Chemical brothers, Bjork,...).

IPHAZE, through its music and synchronised videos, relates with its audience, sharing and exchanging emotions the same way the bass echoes in our bodies. Not wanting to lecture others, IPHAZE wants however to convey their topical ideas, close to nature and mankind, declaiming for example the massacre of whales and showing their support to the Sea Shepherd (from the title “Extinction” on “Head Shivers” – 2013), pollution and exploitation of natural resources (from the title “Oil Spill” on “Worship” – 2010), clearly decrying fascism or questioning the ideals of humanity and the respect of the environment (from the title “No o Shiri No” on “Bloodshot” – 2012).

All this with a glimmer of hope!
