You had enough time to relax during the easter holidays. Now it's time to join us on this awesome evening with 2 fantastic bands from UK. And when I say fantastic I mean heavy breathing, soul shaking, heart tearing, goose bumps fantastic. If you were lucky enough to be on Punk Rock Holiday in Slovenia last year you will know what I am talking about.
Darko (UK) - Melodic Hardcore Punk
After the release of their last EP, ‘Sea Of Trees’,
Darko has spent most of their time ripping through
Europe and the UK to prove that the DIY scene is
alive and kicking in 2015. Having played festivals
like Punk Rock Holiday, supporting legends like A
Wilhelm Scream, and visiting new countries, Darko
have made new friends and they are determined to
convert a lot more over to their brand of punk rock
this year.
At the beginning of the 2016 the band will be releasing
the single, ‘Company of Wolves’, with accompanying
video to tie fans over till the release of
their first full-length album later in the year. To top
it off Darko are going global! The band are working
with labels across the world, to put out releases
on all 6 main continents.

Almeida - Progressive Thrash (UK) - Punk / Metal / Progressive
Almeida are notoriously difficult to define.
Being compared to everyone from Propagandhi
to Dragonforce to SikTh could well give a band
an identity crisis, but the sporadic genre shifts
and progressive songwriting are trademarks the
Hampshire / Sussex quintet pride themselves on.
Blurring the lines between fast punk and technical
metal with a frenzied and acclaimed live show, the
band have earnt slots alongside acts such as A
Wilhelm Scream, H2O, Hot Cross, Failsafe,
Bury Tomorrow and Shai Hulud.
The debut album, ‘Fantastic Massacre’ is a technical
blizzard racking in at just shy of an hour long.
Its seven minute title track and furious two
minute barn-burner ‘Fail Buyer’ were featured on
the ‘Masters of the Universe’ Split EP last year. The
release was described by skatepunkers.net as “By
far the best split EP of 2010” and gained significant
praise in Japan and South America.
After embarking on countless shows, small festival
appearances, radio features on both sides of the
Atlantic and a UK tour with Blackburn’s Fair Do’s
in 2010, this year is set to be an even bigger year
for the band; with the album release and music
video for the track ‘Kings in Contempt’ coming in
the summer. A run of shows in Belgium, Holland,
France and Germany are also in the pipeline later
in the year.
