BI:JU – Silent Book Club

Der Silent Book Club ist ein Buchclub, bei dem nichts Pflicht ist. Du liest gerne, redest aber nicht gerne vor anderen? Willkommen in unserem Club!

Einmal im Monat treffen wir uns für zwei Stunden. Wir beginnen mit einem gemütlichen Beisammensein, bei dem du uns von deiner aktuellen Lektüre erzählen kannst, wenn du möchtest. Dann suchen sich alle einen gemütlichen Platz in der Jugendbibliothek, um eine Stunde lang zu lesen oder ein Hörbuch zu hören. Die letzten 30 Minuten sind dazu da, über das Gelesene zu sprechen oder weiterzulesen, wenn dir danach ist.

Es wird kein Buch zugewiesen: du kannst mit deinem Roman, Comic oder Zeitschrift kommen. Bei uns gibt es Tee und eine Auswahl an Büchern, falls du eines brauchst.

Du kannst jederzeit vorbeikommen. Ohne Anmeldung.

The Silent Book Club is the book club where nothing is mandatory. You are a teenager and you like reading but don’t like talking in front of others? Welcome to our club!

Once a month, we meet for two hours. We start with low-key social time where you can tell us about your current reading. Then, you find somewhere comfortable to read in the youth library or listen to an audio book for an hour. The last 30 minutes are dedicated to talk about what you just read, or keep reading if that is what you feel like.

There is no book assigned. You can come with your novel, your comic, your magazine or anything you are currently reading. We will provide some good warm tee and a selection of books in case you need one.

Past participation is not required for this once-a-month book club. Just drop by, no registration required.
