The waste we leave behind is the burden for those who come after us. While strolling through Vienna, I often noticed what people just throw on the streets.
Gyotaku is an old Japanese technique where fishermen would ink rare fish they caught and transfer the prints onto rice paper as a form of documentation. Over time, this practice evolved into an art form.
I applied this concept to the waste I found during my walks, collecting it and documenting it by transferring its imprint onto something wearable. By doing so, I aim to make the waste more visible, turning it into a kind of "documentation of junk."
